In well-appointed superior 4WD, we venture into the Daintree and Cape Tribulation National Parks exploring the rainforest and its amazing landscapes. Habitat to an abundance of species persevering in isolation, the Daintree constitutes the centrepiece of the world’s closest living counterpart to the ancient rainforest of Gondwanaland.

Your informative and knowledgeable driver/guide will collect you from your accommodation and travel one of Australia’s great scenic Highways before arriving at your first stop Silky Oaks Lodge. Here you will have a delightful morning tea with coffee/tea before heading to the Daintree River. We then cross the Daintree River & continue on to the Maardja Boardwalk. After the walk, we continue onto Cape Tribulation Resort for a delicious 3 course meal.

Walk off your meal with a stroll down Cape Tribulation Beach while your driver explains the rich history of the area. Walk the beach or boardwalk & relax in this tranquil setting.

Recrossing the river, we join a calm water cruise of this important waterway observing the wildlife that inhabits this environment. Your guide will point out the different types of wildlife & plants that make their home along the river. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive & fearsome estuarine saltwater crocodile! The cruise terminates in Daintree Village; where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to the Daintree Eco Lodge to indulge in a cup of tea or coffee and refreshments before heading back to your Cairns Accommodation.
